This was a strange but good week. We had all sorts of things happen, and although we had a low times, the blessings we received are amazing!
We had a baptism for Elda Whetten this week!! She’s from Colonia Juarez and is the sweetest lady; she is full of unshakeable faith and hope. I love her so much and it was such a blessing to finally see her be baptized.
Another blessing we received was finding two new people to teach this week! We had a pretty interesting experience with one of them. Liliana es de Colombia, and we took one of her good friends, Eva, with us to see her. During the course of our conversation, Liliana asked Eva why she’d never invited her to Church before. They’d been the best of friends for 8 years, and she desperately wants to be a part of it. It was very tender yet acute lesson for Eva and ourselves.
I love my Hermana. 🙂 We have transfers this week, and it’s not very likely that we’ll stick together. We’ll see what happens!
Thank you for all your love and support. If anyone knows anyone in the Arizona Tucson Mission that needs a message about Jesus Christ, please let me know and I will send some excellent missionaries to visit them. 🙂
