It’s already the last week of the transfer again, and so much has happened!
This week we had a lot of opportunities to serve. While our zone was having lunch at a little taco stand Wednesday afternoon, a woman crossing the street fell down and cut open her head pretty badly. She was severly dehyrdated and hadn’t taken medication that morning. It was pretty gruesome because there was a ton of blood! My companion, a few other missionaries, and I were able to help her and direct traffic until the ambulance came. It was special to see how Heavenly Father placed all of us missionaries right there to help in that crisis.
We had a mini miracle yesterday! Hermana Field and I were returning from trying to visit a less-active member when we heard someone playing a guitar in their apartment. We decided to knock on their door. It was a middle-aged man playing “Knocking on Heaven’s Door”! (Haha, isn’t that a coincidence?) He was very talented, and so we invited him to come perform at our branch’s talent show next month. Now we get to teach him the gospel! The Lord works in mysterious ways. 🙂
I love you all! Have a wonderful week!
Con mucho amor,
Hermana Sutherland 🙂
